Big Life Changes

Saturday, February 6, 2016

So, I was deciding whether I should write this post or not but I've decided to write it anyway (obviously) - partly for me, partly for you (the ones that are interested). Recently I've gone through a through big life changes or am currently going through some at least so I thought I'd do a little 'life update' type thing and see how it goes.

As you may be aware (from my constant complaining) last year was quite tough and it felt like lots of things went wrong. However, it's a new year and I feel like with determination and some rational thinking - things might be running a bit more smoothly already *touch wood*.

The first change I've made is I decided to get rid of my car. With it not being properly run since May 2015 because of my knee dislocation I felt like it was such a waste of money being sat in the street and I felt like my knee wasn't going to make a drastic difference any time soon. I called Peugeot and made arrangements for my finance agreement and the car has already been collected. I cried a lot and it's such a shame but I know it's for the best. Luckily I live a 5 minute walk from a train station so I won't be completely stranded but it's normal for me to feel a bit disheartened, right?!

My second piece of news is that I got a new job! I can't believe it really as there was a large amount of applicants I have been told and there were 7 people including me interviewed in a 6 hour long process but I am so happy to have been offered the job and it's such a relief to be going back into a career I am trained in, instead of working back at the Pizza Shop. I actually start Monday and will be working for 4 days and then it's actually half term the week after so I get a little break already! I'm so happy to have been chosen and I can't wait to get back into building myself a career!
Last but not least, my 21st Birthday is coming up and I can't quite believe that either. I see 21 as being this monumental age. As a young teen I remember thinking that by 21 I would have my life together and everything would be all figured out. In actual fact thats not how it works at all and I've realised plenty of people in their early 20's are still finding their feet, and that's ok. I'm really looking forward to start celebrating as I have lots of things planned already and I'm sure I'll write a blog post or two about what I got up to!

So that's my recent news. I hope you liked this post and didn't think it was too boring! Let me know are you going through any life changes currently?

Also - I'm thinking about chopping my hair into a long bob! Opinions?
