Father's Day Gift Guide

Tuesday, June 7, 2016

So, June is upon us (side note: where on earth did that come from?! Wasn't it Christmas like 2 weeks ago?) and today there is just under 2 weeks until Father's Day. Just like Mothering Sunday, Father's Day is used to show love and appreciation to the special father figure in your life - whether it be your biological Dad, a step Dad, Grandad or even Uncle! Now, unlike my Mum, my dad doesn't really appreciate the mushy gushy letter type thing so I thought instead, to represent Father's Day on my blog I would just settle for a good old gift guide. Then hopefully it will come in handy to one of you too!

In this guide I have tried to choose items for all different budgets (anything from £10 to £90) and also I have tried my best to choose items from different hobbies and interests. For example there is something for a coffee drinker, keen BBQ'er or even the beauty lover!

(Items will be mentioned from Left to Right, Top to Bottom)

Superman Pyjama Bottoms - Asda - £10
A great choice for dads who love to be comfy and are comic lovers! What also makes these such a great choice is that they're really reasonably priced and come in a range of designs if you have a browse!

Mr Grumpy T-Shirt - TruffleShuffle.co.uk - £14.99
Something for a fun dad! TruffleShuffle.com do some amazing printed t-shirts from character prints to funny quotes and again they're all really reasonably priced! (I'd also take a look in their gift section if I were you!)

Zippo Windproof 'DAD' Lighter - Zippo - £19.95
Probably not something for anyone under the age of 18 to buy their dad but a great gift for you older present buyers to purchase! These Zippo lighters literally last years and you can even get them personalised which makes them extra special!

Beard Grooming Kit - NotOnTheHighStreet.com - £25
I feel like beards are coming back in full force so obviously I couldn't leave out a gift aimed at the beard loving man in your life! This cute little kit is the perfect size for him to carry around with him and contains everything he needs to keep his beard looking it's best!

Beer Crate - M&S - £30
Again, not something for the under 18's to purchase but this is another great gift if you're that bit older and your dad is a beer drinker! Not a keepsake but I'm certain there will be no complaints!

BBQ Tool Set & Apron - NotOnTheHighStreet.com - £33.95
For the BBQ'er/chef! This lovely little set is perfect considering Father's Day is in June just as the weather is getting that bit warmer! A littler higher on the price scale but these look like really good quality items!

Versace Eros Eau De Toilette 200ml - Superdrug - £40 (1/2 price from £80)
Fragrance is a difficult one but makes a brilliant gift if chosen correctly! This Versace Eros smells absolutely divine and is such a steal while on special offer at Superdrug!

Polo Ralph Lauren Leather Wallet - John Lewis - £65
A wallet is something (pretty much) every man needs in his life and I think it's also something definitely worth splurging on seen as it's an item used near enough every day! Ralph Lauren is such a good quality brand and this is something definitely worth the splurge!

Nespresso Coffee Machine - Nespresso - £89
The drink of choice by my Dad, this coffee machine would make the perfect gift for any coffee lover! It also comes with a selection of cartridges which means it's all ready to go!

So, there just some of my Father's Day gift ideas! I hope you like my choices and let me know - if you're buying a gift for someone this Father's Day, what is it?
