Okay, I'll stop now. Seriously though, move in date is looming and I'm super excited to finally be in and sharing it with you. What I will say though, is that the house already looks so different as we have had the keys since Friday and have already done an array of jobs. None the less, I thought the best way to start a home journey would be with an empty house tour. Not very exciting for some of you but any fellow home-ys will be as giddy as me, I'm sure.
Unfortunately the photos are all so dark as when I took them I didn't have time for a fancy photo sesh. They're literally quick snaps taken when the site manager had his back turned. That being said I think it really shows how new and flat everything is for the minute and I can't wait to show you it once we have added our special touches.
My favourite room in the house, the kitchen. I can't wait to make happy memories here, baking and eating.
The main bedroom. This is a really poor photo as it makes the room look tiny but it is actually a decent size. We don't want a lot of clutter so we're opting for quite a simple vibe in here.
The 'spare' room. We literally have no use for this room currently so I think I'm going to put the desk from my old nail salon in here and have it as a little office space/ makeup desk.
I'm really looking forward to making this house our home and am really enjoying the fact that we chose it together and it is ours, no one else has lived here! In two days time we will be spending our first night here so it's all systems go until then. Tomorrow I'm hoping to build our chest of drawers, take all of our clothes and the Tv's across as well as do a 'big shop'. Fingers crossed for cooler weather so I don't flag to early!
