Hello again!
Now I may be a little late with this one but I thought it would still be a good post to share with you. So here's what I got for Christmas! I decided just to include the beauty bits as the other bits I got are mainly vouchers and sweet treats which wouldn't be particularly nice to look at. Aha!
I'd just like to say I was very lucky this year and I'm very grateful! Everyone picked such amazing gifts for me and there wasn't a single thing that I wouldn't use. Now, here we go!
There seems to be a very pink/ rose gold theme running through my gifts this year!
First up is a little Sanctuary Spa gift set I got from my friend at work! I'd been telling her how much I love Sanctuary Spa products and she took the idea and ran with it. This lovely little set comes with a body pouffe (not quite sure of the actual name), Foaming Creamy Bath Soak, Cleansing Burst Body Wash and a pot of Luxurious Body Butter all kept together in this beautiful bird print bag (which i'm contemplating using as a wash bag). My bets are she bought this from Boots but unfortunately I don't know the price.
This year I got a couple of fragrances. My Mum and Dad bought me the Katy Perry Royal Revolution 50ml which I had been lusting over for a few months now. I have the Killer Queen version and absolutely love it so I cannot wait to open this one and get spritzing. I also got a Diesel Loverdose Tattoo gift set with a 30ml perfume, 50ml shower gel and 50ml body lotion. The shower gel and body lotion have not yet been opened but I have to say the perfume is lush!
Some more little presents from a few people at work, a Dove smelly set with 2 body washes and another one of those body pouffe things (one day I will learn the actually term for them), a lovely gift set from Next with a selection of handbag sized products in including a nail varnish, a nail file, a perfume and a glitter liner and then a Soap and Glory 'All The Right Smoothies' which is a set containing 3 popular body butters!
Another amazing gift I received from a friend is this No7 box set! I was so shocked when I opened it as I hadn't even seen these in shops myself. I always want to try new cleansers, moisturisers etc so this is great for me to have a test! Included is; Protect & Perfect Intense Day Cream, Protect & Perfect Intense Night Cream, Blissful Body Wash, Completely Quenched Moisture Lotion, Beautiful Skin Cleansing Lotion, Beautiful Skin Dry Skin Rescue, Sumptuous Bath Soak, Protect & Perfect Intense Hand Cream Day, Lovely Lashes Mascara Black and BB Lips in Ballerina. I haven't yet opened this because it's just too pretty!
Lastly, my most expensive gift this year, my Rose Gold GHD Deluxe set from my Mum and Dad. When I saw these online when they were first released I fell absolutely in love. Rose gold hair straighteners with matching hairdryer - what's not to love?! I have used these every day since I opened them and can say I am not disappointed! The hairdryer is amazing and drys my hair in minutes (usually quite a lot longer) and the straighteners (as with all GHD's) are exceptional!
So there we go! These are all the beauty bits I received this Christmas! What did you find under your tree this year? Anything worth looking for in the sales?
