Fairview Luxury Lodges - Withernsea

Monday, February 16, 2015

Hello again! So it's been a little while since I last did a post but I'm back with a little travel post for you today!

So Friday (13th February) was my 20th birthday and me and 5 friends decided to book a little trip away to Withernsea. Now it's not the most exotic place to visit I know but we just wanted a small getaway to somewhere we could relax and it is only roughly an hour from where we live.

Fairview Luxury Lodges was our accommodation for the weekend as it came highly recommended by a few people in our area. I will also be recommending it to others now after our lovely visit.

We paid roughly £525 between us for a 'sleeps 6' lodge which included our own private hot tub. (please note prices are subject to change)
This worked out well worth it for 3 nights from Friday, 3pm check-in, until Monday at 10am compared to say a night or two in a hotel.

The lodge was equipped with a fully functioning kitchen (including cooker & hobs, dishwasher, microwave, kettle & toaster etc with all the cutlery and crockery you would need) and had two doubles and a twin room bedroom wise. One of the doubles even had a on-suite! In the reception room there was a TV along with a wifi hub and a iPod docking station which were all included in the price.

Every person was left a bath towel and a hand towel on their bed on arrival and the master bedroom also included 2 dressing gowns and 2 pairs of slippers. Also on arrival we were left a 'welcome package' which included a fresh uncut loaf, a pint of milk, a jar of marmalade and a selection of drinks (tea/coffee/hot chocolate). The lodge also had under-floor heating to keep us all nice and warm (it is February after all).

We spent our days in Withernsea (roughly a 5-10 minute drive from the actual 'park') and most evenings watching the TV or in the hot tub. Relaxing for sure!

All in all I think it's safe to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would definitely go again!
