Family Time - Baking

Last week was my little brothers half term so we had to think of a few ideas to keep him occupied. I absolutely love baking but with a little one (he's actually 7, haha) baking from scratch isn't the easiest!

However, I did buy a few bake in a box type things (they were 3 for 2 in Tesco) so we had fun making some chocolate buns and also some plain/vanilla buns! Each of these sets only made 6 buns each which is why we made both. The best thing was everything (bar eggs and butter) was included in the set from the cake mixture itself right to the sprinkles on top!

I don't think the buns turned out too bad to say they were a packet mix! We definitely didn't have any complaints while they were being eaten! I would definitely buy these sets again that's for sure.
