On arrival we were greeted by the lovely Laura who is the PR & Social Manager at La Redoute and she got us all signed in and told us to have a look around, grab a drink and mingle! It was really nice being welcomed by a friendly face and instantly made me feel at ease (I was so nervous!).
We were very kindly provided with an open bar and on arrival there were Peach Bellinis and Long Island Ice Teas for us to help ourselves to! The whole atmosphere was so lovely and the venue felt so chic!
Right near the bar there were also large sweet jars and cute little pick and mix style bags for us to help ourselves to as well. I thought these extra added touches were really special.
There were mannequins around the room dressed in La Redoute clothing and also two racks of clothing either side of the room full of amazing pieces in an array of sizes! It was really nice to be able to have a proper look at their pieces and there were even handbags along the back windowsill!
Once everyone had arrived, Laura made a little speech welcoming us all - letting us know how the night was going to pan out. She then also told us we were all able to take home an item of clothing from the event. I was so shocked at La Redoute's amazing generosity and was also very excited as I had already seen some of the beautiful pieces hanging on the racks.
As you can see, La Redoute stock a lovely selection of high quality clothing from jumpsuits to skirts to blouses with some amazing colours! There were some amazing Christmas Party appropriate pieces on display with designs such as sequinned covered gold dresses and lace burgundy dresses.
At the event there was also a photographer who was putting together a look book of the La Redoute pieces at the event. We were all encouraged to try on some of the lovely clothes and get posing in front of the camera!
Of course, there was also lots of mingling with fellow bloggers - some who I recognised and others who I got the opportunity to meet. There was actually an event on earlier in the day (which I'm sure I will tell you all about shortly) so there were lots of familiar faces!

As if La Redoute hadn't been generous enough, we were also all sent home with an amazing goodie bag!
Inside the goodie bag I received - Headband, Scarf, Bracelet, Mulled Wine Spices, Caudalie Products, Lindt Chocolates and of course a La Redoute catalogue!
Here is the stunning La Redoute dress I came home with! It fit absolutely perfectly and I received lots of compliments when I tried it on! I did however get stuck in it at one point (the zip was caught) and much to my embarrassment it took 2 people to remove it from me!
I'd just like to say a huge thank you to the La Redoute team (especially Laura) for holding this amazing event and inviting me along! It was such a special evening and I am overwhelmed by your generosity!
