Kallum's Corner - Would You Rather?

Right, let's get straight to it with another drinking game associated topic. This one really seperates the men from the boys! Not only must you state your answer but then justify it to the point of feeling like you're a defendant at court, up for a triple murder charge and everyone just keeps asking one question. Why?

I'm now going to try my best to, not only answer but give good reason, to some of the hardest and maybe even weirdest 'Would You Rathers' that I can find.

Would you rather lose all of your money and valuables or all of the pictures you have ever taken?

So, I chose an easy one to start with because let's face it, you can't just jump straight to the mad stuff without some light padding first. Remember, walk before you can run. For me, this was way too easy, the pictures are gone and this is for good reason too. If I was to break down the pictures I take in to 3 categories they would be:

• accidental photos. i.e. pocket pics, unintentional screenshots and oh god, the front camera made me jump
• my girlfriend made me take it 
• i'm at the zoo and everyone else is doing it

With all of the above in mind, my mind was made up instantly: take your pictures and leave me to count my money.

Would you rather have a horrible short term memory or a horrible long term memory?

Round two: the memory game. This one is great and quite simple to answer. Get rid of the short term memory and every day is a new day! Every day you meet new people, everyday you watch avengers assemble like it was the first time watching it, and every time you find out for the 'first time' what Bruce Banners secret is, and each and every day you feel that satisfaction like you have just cured the common cold its-self, as Bruce transforms into the hulk and TKO's a giant flying space-slug.

Would you rather be feared by all or loved by all?

One word! FEARED! Let's be real who really wants to be loved by all? The 70's are over! We live a time where people barely even like themselves, let alone love everyone. But fear, that's the stuff to get you through the day. I couldn't think of anything worse then everyone loving me -I don't love me! I would much rather go about my business, day to day, with village people and common folk, hiding in the shadows from me, than swimming my way through a crowd of over needy - I wasn't hugged enough as a child - followers.

Always have to say everything on your mind OR never speak again?

Okay, I cheated with this one a bit because if i'm completely honest, I have some of the worst verbal diarrhoea that you will ever come across. You know that guy at a funeral that makes jokes at the worst time possible? That's me and I wish the funeral thing was just an example but its also a true story. It became very apparent to me you can not wait until an awkward silence, stand up and state 'right so is there some sort of ritual to make sure she stays dead' and it go down well. I thought it would lighten the mood - it did not.

See into the future OR change the past?

Last one then for this, I would have to change the past. Imagine being able to take back every time you said or did something stupid or embarrassing?! Don't get me wrong, I understand everything I did up to this date have made my life how it is today and made me the man I am but i'm sure my life won't miss the time I thought I was dog at age 9 and defecated in the back garden (it was massive). Then when asked by my mother if I had done it, replying with 'no the dog did it'. Just to put this in to perspective, there was a reason my mum knew I was lying and that reason was, the dog I blamed a turd the size of my arm on, was a Jack Russell.
