Ingleton Waterfalls Trail

Monday, January 15, 2018

If you saw Fridays blog post, I've Got a Jacuzzi on my Balcony, then you will know that we recently had a little trip to the middle of nowhere. Whilst it was lovely to spend a few days doing absolutely nothing in the stunning Ribblesdale Lodges, we also wanted to experience a bit of the outdoors - cue Ingleton Waterfalls Trail .

We took many photos on this lovely walk so I've decided to let the pictures do that talking for a change and make this a very photo heavy post. I will just say a few things first though as I know some of you will have come for some proper information.

The walk took us just over 2 hours which is about average considering the man who took our payment said it would take us 2 and a half hours. The trail in full is 4.3 miles and has some pretty exhausting parts but actually is so worth it for the amazing views/photos. We paid £6pp including parking (children are just £3) which I believes pays for the upkeep of the trail which is so good.

A few things I would say are, wear sensible shoes, take fluids and don't forget your camera!
